Create Teams on TrainHeroic to organize, analyze, and group your athletes. Create sport-specific teams, a team for the entire athletic program, each P.E. class, or even for personal training clients. Some coaches create alumni teams for athletes that graduate but still want to train together even when they are no longer in school together. Create a team for the faculty and staff (and let's be honest coach, some probably need it more than your athletes). The opportunities are endless. Athletes (and coaches) can belong to multiple teams, too. By grouping athletes to a team, you'll have a central place to communicate and deliver programming to every athlete simultaneously, and, as a coach, you can analyze the team's training behaviors and progress.
To Create a Team, Login to your coach account. You'll be brought to your "Teams" page by default. Click Create New in the top right corner.
You'll be prompted to name your team and create an access code to be used by athletes later. You can read more on access codes here.
Give the team some personality and swagger with a Logo and Cover Image.
To upload your images, click on the camera icon. This will allow you to upload an image file from your computer.
The best sizes for the logo image is 500 x 500 Pixels and 500 x 1500 Pixels for the cover image.
Select Save and Close to save your changes.
Working with athletes 1:1? Think of Teams as a way to organize your athletes, or folders. For example, you may create a team called "Personal Training Clients." From here, you can invite your athletes to the team and program exclusively on their 1:1 calendars. With this, you'll streamline the process of inviting your athletes to your organization, and you'll be able to use the team Feed to reach your clients with any general announcements.
