Updating Your Working Maxes

Actual loads (weights) can be automatically populated in your workouts as long as your working maxes are updated. Keep in mind that not all workouts are prescribed at percentages, but if they are, and if your maxes are updated, you'll see exactly how much load should be on the bar.

As an athlete, you have total control over your profile. Your profile should always accurately reflect who you are as an athlete, and we get it, sometimes that changes. Your maxes are something that should always be kept up-to-date. In fact, there are mechanics built in to the TrainHeroic platform that automatically update your maxes as you log your training data. We suggest that you rarely update your maxes manually, but if you need to reassess after injury or for any reason, we got you covered. Here is how you can update your working maxes at anytime...

FROM THE APP

First, click on the Account tab in the bottom right-hand corner. Then choose Maxes.

Click on the movement you want to update. The app autosaves so no need to search frantically for the Save button. Just click anywhere outside of the keyboard.

FROM THE WEB

Login to your account. Select Options (top left) then Settings (gear shift).

Select About Me to load your profile. 

Just a heads up that you can always click on your picture in the upper right hand corner to pull up your profile too.

Then, select the Working Maxes tab.

Input your new maxes. You can either enter them in manually or use the + and - buttons. This page auto saves so don't worry about clicking any save buttons.

Keep in mind that we won't update your numbers for any workouts that you have already began or completed and only new workouts (workouts that you haven't yet logged or began logging) will be updated with your new numbers.

Also note that we will automatically update your 1RM's based on your training. We use 1RM calculators to predict a 1RM and anytime that your training suggests an increase in your 1RM, we automatically update that number for you so that you don't have to and so that you keep progressing.
