It doesn’t matter whether your athletes are with you or remote: once they’ve done their job in training and logging what they did, the ball is in court. If you want them to stay engaged, you have to stay engaged.
Coach Home’s Activity Feed is an easy, efficient way to review, respond, and reward what your athletes have done.
To view from the TrainHeroic mobile app:
Log into the app and tap the Home icon
There are 2 ways to view the Activity Feed:
By default, you will see all the logged sessions from all of your athletes by calendar date - this is what pressing the “Latest” button shows you. You can scroll down the screen to sessions as far back in time as you like.
2. By date
If you hit the “Calendar” icon in the upper right, you can select a specific date to view. You will only see sessions logged for this calendar date. This disables the up and down scroll, but you can use the arrows to go backward and forward in time.
Using calendar filters
You can also filter by which training calendars you are viewing results from.
All = your training sessions athletes have logged + sessions you have logged
Me = sessions you have logged
1:1 = sessions on 1:1 calendars your athletes have logged
Team Calendars = sessions logged on your team calendars
There are several ways to comment and reply, depending on what you need to say and who you want to share it with.
For teams, session comments are shared. This can provide a sense of community around the training, and make you visible if you’re commenting, replying, and reacting to comments.
This also means that if you comment on an athlete’s team session from the Activity Stream, everyone on the team will see the comment and be notified (if they have this notification turned on).
Below are the ways that you can respond to someone:
Select “Direct Message,” which will open up your 1:1 messaging with that athlete and inject their logged session data with your comment. This is useful if you want to privately converse about an athlete’s training, respond to a comment they did not share with the team, check in because their readiness is low, or ask why they didn’t log the entire session.
You can tap “Session Comment,” which will take you to the session comments. If the athlete has made a public comment, you can reply and only that athlete will be notified. This reply is still visible to the rest of the team.
If you make a new session comment, every athlete will be notified - this is not the best way to contact just one athlete, but you might use this to give someone a public shout-out.
To access Coach Home from the web:
Log into your coach account.
You will automatically be taken to Coach Home. If you lose your way and would like to view the page again, select the H icon on the upper left-hand corner.
From there, click to "see more" to expand the session details.
Choose Session Comment to expand the session comments.
Remember, if you make a new session comment, every athlete will be notified - this is not the best way to contact just one athlete.
Click Direct Message to leave a direct message or view a direct message thread.
