Your Program is a template, providing you will a baseline to modify programming for individual athletes or groups.
When you create a Program in the Library, you're creating a template for future use.
When you assign a Program to a calendar, you're applying a copy of the Program to the calendar, as it appears in the Library at that time.
This means that you'll want to make sure your Program is complete at the time you assign it to a calendar.
Editing a Program in the Library will NOT update copies of the Program that have already been assigned to an athlete or Team calendar.
We suggest completely building out your Program before assigning it to a calendar.
If you've assign an incomplete Program to a calendar, you can use the bulk copy/delete feature to clear the calendar, then copy changes from your Program onto the calendar:
If you gave a Program Access Code, they can remove the and then re-add the Program to receive the latest version. Share this link with your athletes, and direct them to delete and re-add the Program to their calendar:
Why are Programs designed to be used as templates?
Once you've assigned a Program to a calendar, you can modify the copy of the Program on the calendar to meet the specific needs of your athlete, or group of athletes. Modifications made to a copy of a Program on the calendar will NOT affect the original copy in the Library.
This will allow you to save time programming, while simultaneously allowing you the flexibility to modify programming for an athlete's individual needs.
