Do you share data with any third parties?
We will not sell or share any email addresses or other information to third parties.
The data that lives within our site is only accessible by each individual user with their secured login and by our support staff for the sake of helping you with your account and supplying general analytical information to our developers.
What personal identifying information is stored?
Data stored by TrainHeroic can include: Email address, first and last name, height, weight, gender, country of origin, training session details and comments. Location information can also be stored if the user opts in via their mobile device.
Only name and email address are required to create an account, all other fields are optional.
Do you store credit card information on your server?
We do not store any credit card or other payment information within TrainHeroic. That is all stored directly with our processor Braintree.
How is data secured?
All data entered into TrainHeroic is securely transmitted to our servers using SSL.
This data is not shared and is only accessible by individual users with secured logins, which includes our support staff for the sake of helping you with your account and supplying general analytical information to our developers.
As a coach can I change my athletes' names to de-identify them?
Within TrainHeroic Athletes own their own account and only they can change the name on the account. When logged into their account, they do have the ability to change their first and last name if needed.
Does TrainHeroic comply with GDPR?
Yes, TrainHeroic is GDPR compliant. EU citizens can email a request for data access or removal by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are you COPPA compliant?
Yes, all users are prompted to verify their age. Any users under 16 will be required to enter a parent email address so that the parent can consent for their child to use the system.
Are you HIPAA compliant?
We are not HIPAA compliant, as our platform is not designed for storing medical records.
Are you a registered member of the SDPC Consortium?
We are not a member of the SDPC Consortium.
