What is the difference between a head coach and an assistant coach on the TrainHeroic platform?
In this article, we will cover how head coaches (account owners) and assistant coaches have different responsibilities when using the TrainHeroic platform. The primary difference between the two is going to manage the business side of things.
Below you'll find information on:
Head Coach/Account Owners:
Think of a Head coach as the sole account owner. This person is the only coach on the account who has access to billing and coach management, along with any Marketplace information. When setting up your account, be sure to have this role connected to the owner or main decision maker for your business.
Responsibilities include:
- Coach Plan (Subscriptions, downgrade/upgrade)
- Billing
- Adding/Removing assistant coaches
- Marketplace Settings
- Marketplace Analytics
- Marketplace Payouts
- Programming
- Athlete management
- TH Chat
- Exercise Library
- Teams
Assistant Coaches:
Assistant coaches will receive their own login for shared access to the account, as well as support from our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Programming
- Athlete management
- TH Chat
- Exercise Library
- Teams
Note: All coaches on the account will have access to the same Athlete List, Teams, TH Chat and a shared Library.
Support and content ownership:
- Anyone who is not listed on the account as a coach cannot receive support from TrainHeroic's Customer Success team.
- Anyone who is not listed as the head coach (account owner) cannot make any management decisions or have access to subscription (coach plan) management, past payment information, adding/removing assistant coaches or anything related to Marketplace reporting and payouts.
- Custom exercises are attached to the coach who created them. If a coach is removed from the account, the custom exercises will not be available to use in future programming.
- Any content created as an assistant coach is the property of the head coach. If an assistant coach leaves or is removed from the account, the programming will stay with the head coach.
