Manage your programming for multiple Teams in one place by using a Parent Calendar.
Are you providing the same programming to multiple Teams? If so, Parent Calendars may be a good solution for you!
A Parent Calendar can be assigned to multiple Teams, allowing you manage programming for multiple Teams from one central place. With one click, you can turn a Parent Calendar on/off for a Team.
Here we'll cover:

- How to assign a Parent Calendar to a Team
What's a Parent Calendar?
A Parent Calendar is simply a calendar, much like your Team calendar, which can be managed from your Library. Parent Calendars can then be assigned to Team calendars, allowing you to deliver the same exact programming to multiple Teams.
When to Use Parent Calendars:
Most coaches likely won't ever need to use a Parent Calendar. We recommend using Programs to easily re-use programming between calendars.
The exception is for coaches who plan to deliver the same exact programming to multiple teams, on the same schedule, without alterations.
For example, if you're a PE teacher with multiple class periods who are following the same programming on the same schedule, you can program on a Parent Calendar, and turn that Parent Calendar on for each Class Period Team. Your Parent Calendar provides one central location to update programming for multiple Teams subscribed to the Parent Calendar.
3 Steps to Create a Parent Calendar:
1. First, head to the Library, and select 'Parent Calendars.'
2. Select 'Create Parent Calendar' and give that Parent Calendar a title
3. Select 'Create Parent Calendar'
Once you've created your Parent Calendar, you'll program directly on the calendar. You can even add a Program from your Library using the 'Add from Library' option in the upper right-hand menu.
Add your Parent Calendar to a Team:
After you've created your Calendar and added programming, you'll want to assign the Parent Calendar to your Teams. From your Parent Calendar Library page, select 'Assign.'
Use the dropdown to select the appropriate Teams that will be subscribed to this Calendar.
Once the Teams are subscribed to the Parent Calendar, remember, you'll only need to maintain that programming on your Parent Calendar, not the individual Teams. Pretty cool, right?!
