Quickly remove athletes from teams or programs, and archive them from your list.
As a coach, you'll be able to remove athletes from Teams, or remove them from your Athlete List.
Archiving an athlete will immediately remove their access to any team programming, team feeds and any sessions added to the athlete's 1:1 calendar. Archiving an athlete will also remove them from your Athlete List altogether, removing them from your 'Attached Athletes' as part of your Coach Plan.
Here we'll cover:
- How to remove an athlete from your Athlete List ("Archive")
- How to remove an athlete from Teams
- How to recover archived athletes
- FAQ for Archiving Athletes
To remove athletes from your Active Athlete List:
1. Login to your coach account, and select Athletes from the left-hand menu.
2. Check the box next to the name of the athlete (or athletes) that you would like to remove
3. Select the trash can icon on the upper right to Archive your athlete
3. Confirm that you'd like to Archive the athletes
Archived athletes will now show up on the Archived athletes list in case there's ever anyone that you'd like to move to Active in the future.
Once they are Archived, they will no longer be able to see any programming or communication from your organization, and they will NOT count against your "Attached Athletes" and Coach Plan.
Note: By Archiving an athlete, you are NOT deleting that athlete's TrainHeroic account, but simply removing them from your Account.
To bulk remove athletes from Teams (only):
1. Login to your coach account, and select Athletes from the left-hand menu.
2. Check the box next to the name of the athlete (or athletes) that you would like to remove
3. Select the 'Remove from Teams' icon in the upper-right to remove your athletes from all Teams
Removing athletes from ALL Teams will remove their access to programming and team messaging, however it will NOT remove them from your Active Athlete List, in the instance they will be joining a new team, or training with you 1:1.
To recover archived athletes:
Go to your Archived athletes list, check the box next to the names of the athletes you'd like to bring back and choose the add icon on the upper right.
Next, confirm that you would like to undo the archive for the selected athletes.
FAQ: General questions about Archiving Athletes
Will my coach plan be downgraded automatically after archiving athletes?
No. Archiving athletes will open up lower Coach Plans for you to downgrade to at anytime, but we do NOT automatically downgrade your Coach Plan as it's difficult for us to anticipate your next move in the instance you may also be inviting new athletes.
What does “Archive” do?
“Archive” removes an athlete from your Athlete List, removing them from all teams and your organization.
When an athlete is moved to your Archive List, you will also no longer be able to view training results for the athlete, message them, or program for them.
This means that the athlete will no longer have access to any programming or chat features. They will however keep access to any logged training data, making it easy for them to return to train with you at anytime.
Archiving an athlete is a way for you to say “I am no longer coaching this athlete, and I’d like to remove them from my active athletes.”
Archived athletes do NOT count toward your Coach Plan.
What does “Remove From Teams” do?
“Remove From Teams” removes the selected athlete(s) from any teams they are a member of. These athletes will be moved to “Athletes not on a Team,” and will still have an individual calendar and feed that you can access.
Can I still report on this athlete or see them in Analytics?
No. You can only report on active athletes.
If you add the athlete back to the group you want to report on, their data and calendar will again be accessible to you.
What does the athlete experience when I archive them?
We do not send the athlete any kind of message that they have been Archived in your organization. This Archive feature is intended to be used for managing athletes you are no longer coaching.
An Archived athlete will no longer have access to the calendars and feeds your organization owns.
